Call for Participation! Professional Web Scholarship

Donate a Computer and Provide a Student with an Opportunity of a Lifetime!
Green Collar Technologies in collaboration with the World Organization of Webmasters, (WOW) announce an education and certification scholarship program for local students.
Who are we and why are we doing this?
WOW and Green Collar Technologies are registered non-profit organizations whose respective missions are to promote education and sustainable employment on the Hawai`i Islands.
If you’re from business and industry, small business or just willing to support local education and sustainable employment here on the Hawai`i Islands then please consider a matching grant donation of a computer to this worthy cause.
To make this happen, we need your support.
Specifically, we need one local individual and ororganization to support this WOW’s matching scholarship offer by a donation of a computer for thetraining classes leading up to the certification exam. The estimated computer cost is $1,200.00 after shipping. We will use it to teach a WOW approved curriculum that will prepare a student with relevant education and training and an opportunity to sit for WOW’s certification exam provided by the WOW organization.
In return for your support, (if you desire) YOU will receive:
- A public announcement demonstrating your support
- Participation in the graduation ceremony
- A certificate plaque commemorating your support for education and employment in Hawai`i
Any interested persons, businesses or organizations should contact Brent Norris at 808-896-7656.
