So what’s next?
For starters, we continue to seek business relationships with local organizations in green occupations, green employment and green workforce re-education. This includes small business owners, local government and educational institutions, specifically instructors.
Green Educational Series
An upcoming collaboration will help us reach out to Instructors that specialize in areas of sustainability or environmentally friendly products or services. We’re reaching out to the folks that have been doing things on an environmentally conscious level for so long, they could easily teach their specialties to others and they’re willing to share for a small fee. Subjects like solar, wind and other alternative energy systems are among our first class offerings. We’ll be looking for the best instructors in sustainable farming, rain harvesting and green building technologies. Expect an announcement soon concerning our first all Green Educational Series.
GreenCollar.TV
With your support, we’ll be working on GreenCollar.TV. Look for some exciting output from a recent collaboration in video and television.
Refocus on You!
With your help, we’re planing to convert this entire to a more customer centric focus, giving you the spotlight. We’ll be looking for profiles of Green Collar Workers on Hawai`i Island. Know anyone? Let us know.
Green Bloggers Unite!
And today, I’ll be reaching out to other green bloggers on Hawai`i Island. We know you’re out there. Or at least we know we have some readers since our traffic has doubled each month since we went live in January.
Look for us to bring some of our other organizations into the mix, including the Big Island Blog Network, Big Island Advertising and several other Hawai`i-Island-focused Internet properties.
