Here is a notice from Kareen about the first reading of the “Home Rule” Legislation. It is called Resolution #265-09 and will come before the Council (Food and Energy Sustainability Committee – Chair Brenda Ford, Vice-Chair Pete Hoffmann) this coming Tuesday November 3 at 1pm in Hilo with tele-conferencing in Waimea and Kona. If you cannot attend please send in testimony to counciltestimony@co.hawaii.hi.us and refer to Resolution #265-09.I am on Oahu that day for the Children’s Nutrition Summit but will surely send in testimony. It should be interesting.
