2011 Hawaii Island Sustainability Forum – Program Guide

The Third Annual Hawaii Island Sustainability Forum entertains, educates and inspires attendees to come together to talk story and learn about local and state-wide sustainability efforts. Expert presenters will be presenting their latest updates on a large variety of sustainability topics.

Attendees will be treated to short presentations and even shorter videos which entertain, educate and inspire. The format provides actionable insights and creates lasting dialog among attendees. Dozens of vendors and event sponsors will also be on hand to discuss their latest efforts and offerings.

Presentation topics that entertain, educate and inspire will include; local green business and jobs, education, sustainable shelters and building codes, sustainable gardening and food independence, water supplies, local renewable energy efforts, open government, green jobs and greener local economies. Attendees can gain a deeper understanding by participating in moderated discussions after each presentation. Very short, highly-informative videos will play between presentations.

This is a not for profit event and the event itself is being delivered by an all-volunteer team.
