2011 Hawaii Island Sustainability Forum

April 30th, 1-7pm at the Palace Theater
A humble request to participate.
This educational event brings the community together under a common umbrella to promote our island’s sustainability efforts and provides exposure for local businesses and organizations. The forum is a unique opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet. Attendees are rewarded with lessons, entertainment and valuable insights into island sustainability.
We request your financial support to assist in paying for expenses ie; venue, insurance, audio/visual and signage.
  • 1 “Title Sponsor” ($1,000 each)
    • Your brand name will appear  in every mention of the event title. Your logo/brand will also appear  in all marketing and advertising materials (print, online, radio, videos, etc.).
    • On-stage banner placement and at least three emcee mentions from the stage during the event and a vending table in the lobby.

  • 2 “Event Co-Sponsors” ($500 each)
    • Your brand name will appear  in every mention of the event title. Your logo/brand will also appear  in all marketing and advertising materials (print, online, radio, videos, etc.).
    • On-stage banner placement and at least three emcee mentions from the stage during the event and a vending table in the lobby.
  • 10 “Corporate Sponsors” ($150 each)
  • Your logo/brand will also appear at the bottom of all printed and online marketing and advertising. Lobby banner placement. Mentions from the stage.
All sponsor brands will be aligned with sustainability and abundance in the hearts and minds of all attendees. All event sponsors are included in the collaboration and planning efforts via online budgeting and planning documents.
The evening is dedicated to sharing ideas, projects and updates related to our island’s best sustainability efforts. Achievers are acknowledged and celebrated through presentations that inform, educate and catalyze all participants towards common goals.
We’ll have 8-10 presenters this year, each sharing their knowledge in a particular expertise. Presenters will share progress and insights into our critical infrastructure ie; water supply, local food, entrepreneurship, education, permaculture, political advocacy, renewable energy, social responsibility, our economy and more.

This is a not for profit event. The budget is capped at $5,000.
Ticket sales (-50% to Red Cross for Japan Relief Efforts), donations and any monies collected over $5,000 will go into a separate bank account reserved for use by next year’s planning committee.
