Internships in Self-Sustainability
Green Collar Technologies offers internships in two key areas:
1) Sustainable Living – interns accepted into the program learn about sustainable energy, agriculture, permaculture, off the grid living, rainwater harvesting, native plants and forest. Everyone applies what they learn on sustainability projects on Hawaii Island.
2) Sustainable Web Platforms – selected interns learn about sustainable web designs, platforms and web 2.0 social marketing. Learn how to sustain themselves using the web as a platform while practicing what you learn make the program a valuable experience.
Green Collar Technology classes and workshops are held at its off the grid, camp-like setting in Mountain View, Hawai`i and at the Hawaii Innovation Center at Hilo. The internship program is designed to provide students of all ages with an opportunity to learn about sustainability in the real world from educational and industry professionals through many perspectives.
