Rainwater Harvesting Class (RWH101)

Mahalo for your payment for the Rainwater Harvesting class.

Please take another moment to complete your registration below.

Water is Life.

On Hawaii Island we spend nearly ten million dollars per year on diesel fuel to pump water from the ground into our water grid. We have tied the price of our water to the price of fossil fuels. Bottled water is already more expensive than gasoline.

Desert societies have survived for thousands of years using rainwater harvesting to collect their water. You can too. Take this class to learn how.

HELCO and the County of Hawaii both suggest keeping your own water supply on hand in case of emergency.

Why wait for an emergency?
Owning your own water supply will help you reconnect with the most important aspects of water while providing your family with a renewable resource for gardening, drinking and preserving your sustainable lifestyle. Why let anyone stand between you and your water supply?

Owning your own water supply easy and affordable to get started.

We offer an introductory class in Rainwater Harvesting to help you become aware of our water supply needs. We will help you better understand the requirements for getting started and the best approaches for your climate and budget.
