Tech Jobs Still Solid

According to Deb Perelman at ZDNet, techie jobs are still looking good. She quotes some data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics,

U.S. businesses have added almost 90,000 techies to their payrolls in 2008–while the national workforce lost 438,000 jobs.

The other quotes from Dice seem a little less relevant but overall, the message is positive, as it should be given the fact that many of us are able to work from anywhere without the need for commuting.
